What Our Members Say
After retiring we moved to Ashland. One day I stopped at the Bargain Hut to donate some stuff and ended up talking to some people who told me about the Senior Center across the parking lot. I was nervous about meeting new people, but bit the bullet and went in. I met someone inside and she gave me a tour and told me about the different activities. I discovered the they had a cribbage group, and always wanted to join one, so I did! I met many fun and welcoming people. I’ve been playing every Tuesday since :) Cribbage led to joining various activities; like Card Making, Cardio Drumming, and one of my favorites, our Improv group. As well as other classes put on by the community. Don’t be shy, come on down and give us a try!

I would like to say the Enrichment Center is a great way to spend some of your extra time catching up with some of your classmates or your neighbors that you haven't seen in a while and sit down, have a cup of coffee and relax. If you want more activity there is such things as Bingo, Cribbage and Pool to name a few. But for the most part just sitting and talking with other people and listening to their viewpoints and sharing there feelings on any subject you wish to discuss is interesting. And it is also nice because some people have no one else to talk with, so it is a great gather place for people who are up in age looking for some activity and company to pass the day. The staff is very helpful. If there is something you need or information, they are always willing to help or lead you in the right direction.
May God Bless.
